FAQs

I offer individual therapy for adults and couples therapy.
-
You can reach out through the contact form or email me at aahuja.therapy@gmail.com. I offer a 20-minute phone call to discuss what brings you to therapy and whether working together feels like a good fit.
-
I suggest that clients commit to weekly sessions at the beginning of therapy so that we have the opportunity to build rapport and establish consistency. We can revisit frequency as our work progresses.
I currently see clients virtually. While conducting therapy virtually, it is imperative to take sessions from a private and confidential setting.

I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many of my clients use their out-of-network benefits to help offset the cost of therapy.
When speaking with your insurance company, you may want to ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If so, how much have I met?
How much of each session will be reimbursed?
Is there a limit on the number of sessions covered each year?
How do I submit superbills for reimbursement?
-
I offer a sliding scale based on financial need. Please reach out for further information.

I will charge your credit card after each session. To maintain consistency in our work and protect the time reserved for you, I have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy.
